Who or What is KorQoo ?

KorQoo is a brand that has been created to promote the use and versatility of cork

Why was KorQoo created?

We wanted to provide a viable and sustainable alternative to the aluminium tin, make a positive impact and contribute in a practical way to the preservation of habitats

What is a KorQoo Box?

It’s a cork soap box

Who is the box for?

It’s for everyone, it’s ideal for travelling as it’s light, compact and robust. It’s for anyone who has an interest in the natural habitats and sees value in protecting the plant

Why Cork?

It’s an amazing versatile naturally water resistant product that is manually harvested, using traditional techniques in maintained forests that protects the natural wildlife. Its proactive conservation.

Does harvesting the cork kill the tree?

No. the tree can be harvested every 9 years and a tree can live for 200 years. In fact  It consumes  more CO2 after harvesting than it did before harvesting, the more we use the bigger the benefit!!

Is Cork water resistant?

Yes

Is cork easy to maintain?

Yes, periodically clean using the scrubbing brush and warm soapy water, rinse and air dry, if in a rush dry with a hair dryer

Why Not Aluminium?

Aluminium is mined in some of the most environmentally sensitive parts of the world, causing massive environmental damage, destroying habitats and leaving behind huge amounts of toxic waste after processing.
